On April 28, 2021, Connecting for Better Health hosted the second event in our virtual panel series highlighting the impact that a statewide HIE network would have on public health and California’s healthcare landscape.

Data Sharing to Promote Health Equity was moderated by Dr. Hector Rodriguez, Cal-IHEA, with panelists Rhonda Smith, California Black Health Network; Dr. Alice HM Chen, Covered California; and Dr. Julia-Adler Milstein. This interactive discussion focused on how data sharing can support efforts to promote health equity across California and what needs to be done in order to achieve successful data exchange that supports all Californians.
