Media Statement: Connecting for Better Health Celebrates the January 31, 2024 Milestone of the Data Exchange Framework

LARKSPUR, Calif. — January 31, 2024 — “The California Health and Human Services Agency announced today a significant milestone for California’s Data Exchange Framework: The start of data sharing by most health care entities across California to deliver more coordinated, equitable, whole person care for better health outcomes.

We as a community celebrate this important day and remain committed to demonstrating the value and promise of the Data Exchange Framework. Now is the time to double down on our efforts to promote accountability, translate data into action, and continue momentum to achieve widespread interoperability. California’s health depends on it.”
